Nate Hodges

Originally from the San Francisco Bay area, Nate trained with “A Chorus Line” veteran Pamm Drake. He graduated with a B.A. in Dance from the University of California, Irvine, where he performed and choreographed with the award winning hip-hop company Kaba Modern, danced with Donald McKayle’s pre-professional company Etude Ensemble, and was chosen among nine others to represent the University at the Conservatoire de Danse in Paris, France for their concert “Danses en Mai”.

Upon graduation, Nate choreographed for The Etude Ensemble, BareBones Dance Theatre, the Jimmie DeFore Dance Center, Funkanometry SF, KM Legacy, Phoenix Dance Company as well as several studios and schools across California. He has danced professionally with Louisa Reichlin Dancers, Funkanometry SF, KM Legacy, and BARE Dance Company from 2004 to 2006. He has also appeared in movies, including “Another Gay Movie”. Nate is currently focusing on his contemporary jazz ensemble, RhetOracle Dance Company.
